For South of Midnight I had the opportunity, for the first time on a videogame, to do Level Art.
____
The idea of this level is that everything is Molly Size. So compared to Hazel the size everything is huge. This level was truly a collaborative effort. For Molly's Lab I worked with Mike Sklavo our Senior Level Designer and Senior 3D Environment Artist Samir Ahmed Yahia. The Artists at Room8 created the majority of the props for this level. Since a lot of the props were oversized we used a lot of tiled materials on the assets. I worked with our outsource partners on the textures and materials for this level. Samir Ahmed Yahia along with Room 8 created all of the rock meshes. One of our technical artists on this project, Marc Andre created the shader for the glowing Jars. I kit bashed some assets which included the Cart and the door and the tables that she climbs on. I used the system that Emmanuel Louzon created to make Huggin Molly's Threads in the lab.
